Senior Fullstack Engineer

About this role

We are building a decision-support platform to help people navigate complex choices, starting with car buying and expanding to other high-stakes decisions. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will join a small, high-impact team to expand the platform, take ownership of backend architecture, and contribute across the stack. This is an opportunity to shape a platform from the ground up, working closely with product and engineering leadership.

What you'll do

• Take ownership of backend architecture and contribute across the stack
• Build new systems from scratch and ship quickly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to align technical implementation with product vision
• Translate deep product logic into real-world features
• Help expand the platform from its initial use case into a generalizable, AI-powered product

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, with particular expertise in backend engineering
• Experience building and scaling new systems from scratch
• Proficiency in modern web technologies (e.g., React, TypeScript, Node.js, or similar)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment (e.g., Docker, CI/CD)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in 0→1 environments
• Experience with AI/ML tools or LLMs in production is a plus
