Senior Full-Stack Developer (Mobile Backend)

About this role

We need someone with 3-5 years of backend engineering experience who has built real-time streaming systems from zero-to-one. You should be comfortable architecting scalable voice/audio processing infrastructure and have a track record of shipping production systems that handle concurrent users and low-latency requirements. This role focuses on developing advanced voice AI for more natural interactions with technology.

What you'll do

• Build and own backend infrastructure for real-time audio streaming and voice processing
• Take ownership of system architecture and drive scalable, low-latency solutions
• Work closely with iOS engineers and ML researchers to integrate voice AI systems end-to-end
• Architect WebSocket/WebRTC systems that handle concurrent voice calls with minimal latency
• Lead infrastructure projects from conception to production deployment
• Design and implement robust data pipelines for audio processing and ML model serving

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack/backend engineering, ideally with iOS mobile apps
• Experience building real-time streaming systems from zero-to-one
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and/or Go
• Experience with WebSockets, WebRTC, and real-time communication protocols
• Track record of shipping production systems with low-latency requirements
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Bonus: Experience with ML pipelines, voice/speech processing
