About this role

Join as an early full-time engineering hire to spearhead all things front-end, iOS engineering, mobile development, UI/UX & product design. We're building the future of social by facilitating genuine human connections IRL. This role is perfect for an experienced iOS engineer with a history of designing beautiful consumer applications who can wear different hats across brand & product design, UX research & front-end engineering.

What you'll do

  • Lead iOS engineering and mobile development efforts as an early engineering hire
  • Spearhead front-end development, UI/UX design, and product design initiatives
  • Build product-led growth features and referral systems for consumer applications
  • Design and develop beautiful, intuitive iOS applications from concept to App Store launch
  • Collaborate across brand design, UX research, and front-end engineering
  • Work with Figma to build and design consumer-facing social products
  • Write and ship front-end web & iOS code in an Agile Software Lifecycle
  • Shape the ethics and user psychology approach in social product development

What we're looking for

  • 0 - 10 years of experience as an iOS engineer with a history of designing beautiful consumer applications
  • Strong iOS engineering skills with product design capabilities (iOS engineer first, product designer second)
  • Experience building product-led growth features and referral systems in consumer applications
  • Demonstrated history of building projects/products outside of work/school
  • Experience with Figma for building and designing consumer-facing social products
  • Strong stance on ethics surrounding user psychology in social products
  • Experience writing/shipping front-end web & iOS code (HTML/CSS/JavaScript, React, Swift)
  • Previously launched or worked on an iOS application currently on App Store
